The new commerce experience in CSP is a multi-stage, multi-year transformational journey to deliver a simplified engagement experience that benefits both Microsoft partners and customers. It makes transacting licenses and attaching and managing your services easier, accelerating your business growth and your customers’ cloud adoption. 

Microsoft launched the new commerce experience (NCE) in the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program in November 2019. 
Goals:
-Customers a greater choice and flexibility in how and where they purchase
-Partners more opportunities to sell to a growing base of existing and new customers.

Subscription types:
-Monthly: 20% increase, no annual commitment, flex subs 
-12 month subscription: can be billed monthly or annually, price locked the entire term. Can increase but not decrease seat count. 
-36 month: 3 year pricing for longer term licencing commitments
